Fillers/Fat Injections -
Injection Methods

Small amounts of fillers can be placed directly into the affected area. If larger treatments are planned then local anaesthetic is used. The temporary filler are placed directly under the skin to achieve the required effects. This is done in a clinic setting and takes 15-30 minutes.

When fat injections are used then this is done in hospital. It is usually as a day case and can be under local or general anaesthetic depending on the size of the area to be treated. Small amounts of fat is usually removed from the tummy or buttock and placed in the area to be treated.
